Entry squeeze
[edit]Thanks for the Entry-squeeze article -- keep up on good job. Regards, Duja► 15:36, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
Hi ... neat article but I just thought I would mention my view that it was a tad non-encyclopedic in places eg "What if ... ?" but hey life's too short to worry probably. Abtract (talk) 19:32, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
Removal of "spoilers" in The Silent Speaker
[edit]Please don't remove content from an article because you believe it contains "spoilers"; Wikipedia does not censor plot summaries to remove endings. In fact, we have a guideline about this: WP:Spoiler that details:
It is not acceptable to delete information from an article because you think it spoils the plot.
I have reverted your removal of ending of the story. Please don't remove it again. If you disagree with the contents of the section, or believe it inaccurate, you can use the article talk page to discuss what you feel is incorrect, but wholesale removal of content is not acceptable. keɪɑtɪk flʌfi (talk) 23:50, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
- And, looking farther on in my watchlist, you did use the talk page. Oops! I will read what you wrote and comment further there. keɪɑtɪk flʌfi (talk) 23:52, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Nero Wolfe footnote
[edit]In an edit summary on Nero Wolfe you wrote:
- Still trying to get ref right -- why won't Wiki preview footnotes?)
Well, it would require a separate 'pane' in the preview window, so that the editor is not misled to think that the footnote appears in the section being edited. Until such a feature is added, you could test it by previewing it outside the <ref> tag. —Tamfang (talk) 05:14, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
Redundancy
[edit]Best of the New Year. Does not the bullet item immediately following the sentence I deleted carry the same meaning albeit in different wording? Newwhist (talk) 18:21, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
- I am less skilled at the game than you image. Is my redo of the edit accurate? Newwhist (talk) 22:32, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 30
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Nero Wolfe supporting characters, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Before Midnight (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
