All I can do is point you to Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:No original research as to why things have to be verified by independent third party sources whether you know them to be true or not. I personally have no reason to doubt you but the rules apply to every one. Personally there are things on here that I know or believe to be untrue but unless I have the sources to back my opinion up there is nothing I can do about it. I know that it can be extremely frustrating but I didn't make the rules as I'm just one of the thousands of schlubs on here.

Equally I can't allow you to post photgraphs or anything else as that is the province of Wikipedia:Administrators and I'm just a normal user like you (as such I can't stop you from doing it either). The best thing to do is get in touch with the admin who blocked you to explain your reasons for wanting that changed.

As I say I appreciate your frustrations but unfortunately the rules are in place and have to be folowed otherwise anybody could come and claim to have intimate knowledge of something in which they were never involved (Note I'm not referring to you when I say that, I'm referring to someone I personally had dealings with a few years back who made some pretty wild claims about an individual in their Wikipeida article based on an invented relationship with them). Note also that if you were to publish a biography of your father it would be considered a reliable source - might be worth considering as his story sounds pretty interesting.

Anyway I hope you stay around and continue to edit widely on Wikipedia but in this case there is not a lot I can do to help you. Keresaspa (talk) 18:55, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

Oh and in the interests of clarification I forgot to say that everything I added to the article came from Philip Rees' book Biographical Dictionary of the Extreme Right Since 1890 so any errors are not mine but should be taken up with the author of the book. I must also point out that the article is not mine as you describe - it belongs to Wikipedia and can be edited by anybody unless the Admins decide otherwise. I certainly claim no ownership of it and only started the article as part of a project designed to fill out all the redlinks in the article of the above mentioned book. I did so fully in the knowledge that it could well be completely altered by any number of users so I certainly would never claim it, or indeed any article on here that I started or contributed to, was my intellectual property. This is one of the founding principles of Wikipedia as shown at Wikipedia:Ownership of articles. I hope that helps to clear things up. Keresaspa (talk) 20:29, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for responding. I was very frustrated back in 1999-2001 when I found the Falange page on Lycos about my dad saying he died in 1939. I sent numerous emails and pictures to them and their page remained unchanged for 2 years. Eventually I sent a very nasty email and revisions were made, but you will notice that the lead paragraph still show "his death is still a mystery"??? Tonight I am going to add another reference source. In a side-story, my dad found that a prof, Dr Luis Martin, at Southern Methodist University (3 blocks from our house) was teaching a course on the SCW. Mom rang them up, inquired about the class and said that she would like to enroll a student. "Pepe Sainz? He's dead..." The prof was a socialist and was misrepresenting many aspects of the facts of the SCW. After dad corrected him during the class numerous times, he finally asked him to back off because he was the professor.
