tube challenger?
[edit]Do you try to do the tube challenge? Visiting all 275 stations on the tube? If yes well so do I. My team is called waveform. I like to hear from you! the southerner 18:01, 28 March 2006 (UTC) visit my page
waveform, TBH I think that you lie a lot, I am a member on the tubechallenge.com site and I personally don't believe that your websites are professional web designs (they are on Freewebs...)... Tubechallenger 16:16, 29 March 2006 (UTC), oh, and yes I do the tubechallenge, frequently too. Tubechallenger 16:18, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Rofl at whoever corrected Waveform's spelling! Tubechallenger 19:07, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
Denvilles
[edit]The kid (I assume he his young and male) who wrote the above is trying to foist an article about Denvilles railway station into Wikipedia. Can you please tell us whether you think Denvilles ever existed? -- RHaworth 03:33, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Hi RHaworth, I have checked a rail atlas and it does not exist, it would list closed station. Tubechallenger 16:16, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- Many thanks that's good enough for me. -- RHaworth 02:42, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
- Hiya. Could you check the source I have provided on the page? If it was a temporary platform, not an official station, it surely wouldn't be in the rail atlases? Vizjim 10:33, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
- It would definately be in the rail atlas or trackmap as a marked location of an ex-platform, it lists staff halts! Tubechallenger 14:55, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
It is listed in "The Directory of Railway Stations (R.V.J. Butt ISBN 1852605081) and its reference is similar to that of Rowlands Castle up the line. Some more digging needed, I think. Britmax 19:02, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
Did some more digging and its getting complicated, so I'll put any further comments on the station's talk page. Britmax 19:29, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

Most Wikipedians would prefer to just work on articles of their own interest. But if you have some free time to spare, here are some open tasks that you may want to help out :
Oh yes, don't forget to sign when you write on talk pages, simply type four tildes, like this: (~~~~). This will automatically add your name and the time after your comments. And finally, if you have any questions or doubts, don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. Once again, welcome! =)- Mailer Diablo 12:56, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
Image copyvios
[edit]I think image copyright violations are handled at WP:IFD, but I'm not certain. I don't have time to check right now (I've been away since Friday afternoon so I have a lot to catch up on!) but I suggest you list the images there. If it is not apropriate I'm sure someone will fix it and educate you as to how it should be handled.
Sorry I can't help directly, but I don't fully understand this area of Wikipedia myself! Thryduulf 22:13, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

442 Overhaul
[edit]Read on several sites that it had been halted including one where the admin could 'confirm' though his sources - though I now gather it was duff info, but had forgotted about correcting the article --Enotayokel 20:56, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
