Old peer review
[edit]You seem to be missing many LGBT peer reviews that did happen but are at old titles, or redirects, e.g. Wikipedia:WikiProject LGBT studies/Peer review/Cleveland Street scandal and Wikipedia:WikiProject LGBT studies/Peer review/James Dobson. DrKay (talk) 17:16, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
- @DrKay: Thanks for letting me know. I think every PR that had a redirect starting Wikipedia:WikiProject LGBT studies/Peer review/ now has a redirect starting Wikipedia:WikiProject LGBTQ+ studies/Peer review/, so they should work with the post-move project banner template. I've restored the old-peer-review parameter for everything I had removed it from. The only exception is for Talk:Cultural depictions of Matthew Shepard, which as far as I can tell did not ever have a peer review of any kind; the PR parameter was likely copied over inadvertently from the parent article when the talk page was created.--Trystan (talk) 18:52, 13 October 2024 (UTC)

Matthew Shepard
[edit]Not important enough to make a long argument, but a one-paragraph mention of the 20/20 doesn't need its own subsection.
Clearly the people writing the article originally considered the two the same material, because the paragraph discussing responses to the "Book of Matt" in fact covers responses to both. Many of the citations are explicitly to the 20/20 piece, and dated years before the book. If you really think the subsections shouldn't be merged, you might usefully go to the last paragraph and move the references to the proper subsections. That would make the article redundant and awkward, of course (since the criticisms of book and article are nearly identical), but since you insist they are different, responses to the 20/20 news show should not be cited as being responses to the Book of Matt.
If it bothers you that there's only one subheading under the subsequent reporting heading, that is trivially fixed. Michael-Zero (talk) 14:56, 26 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks.
