List of changes

[edit]

I'm making a list here (for now, mostly for my own use) of changes to make in the CDA version, to create the new RfC/Ad version. --Tryptofish (talk) 19:18, 12 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Change name from Community De-Adminship to Request for Comment/Administrator.
  2. All final decisions to be made by ArbCom, not by community.
  3. Nominated admin has 7 days before certification to make defense, which appears on main discussion page.
  4. Editor nominators are responsible for entire nomination, once certified; must document past dispute resolution, and must document canvassing.
  5. Eliminate all votes, !votes, and percentages. Discussion is numbered comments in 4 areas: support de-sysop, support alternative sanction, oppose sanction, and neutral.
  6. Nominators do not make numbered comments.
  7. Nominated admin can list challenges to nominators and commenting users.
  8. Two possible outcomes: referred to ArbCom, or no action.
  9. Referred to ArbCom is either consensus for de-sysop of admin, consensus for other sanction for admin, or consensus that editor nomination was bad-faith. Latter can occur with speedy closure, but never for failed nomination (not certified) or comments withdrawn before certification of nomination.
  10. Add CENT to publicity.
