Re Sarah Palin as politician
[edit]If you are going to Wikilink an article, at least read it first: 'A politician or political leader (from Greek "polis") is an individual who is involved in influencing public policy and decision making. This includes people who hold decision-making positions in government, and people who seek those positions, whether by means of election, coup d'état, appointment, electoral fraud, conquest, right of inheritance (see also: divine right) or other means'. Are you suggesting that Sarah Palin is no longer seeking political office? AndyTheGrump (talk) 18:08, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
On your talk page you ask that people be polite. I would appreciate the same. Of course I read the articles I link to. Please provide evidence that Palin is currently seeking political office. Tryggvi bt (talk) 19:23, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
- No. If you are going to make silly edits, I'm going to describe them as such. AndyTheGrump (talk) 19:57, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Sarah Palin, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting.
