- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!
Binders full of women
[edit]Obviously, some users are happy to revert without any discussion... My suggestion to you is to bring it up that reversion on the article's talk page, then revert it back yourself and ask the other user(s) to discuss in your edit summary. Also, you might try adding material in smaller chunks; e.g., split out the sections first, then add the MassGAP quotes in. (Keeping them in the same style as the rest of the article would probably also help.) I'd also like to see the non-meme aspects covered better, but it is a bit of a pain to edit that stuff in given the current climate on the article. – 2001:db8:: (rfc | diff) 18:03, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
- The problem is that you are veering off the subject. The article is about the meme started by the left. You seem to know want to turn it into a controversy regarding Romney's attempt to find women for his cabinet turning it into even more of an attack on Romney. Some of MassGAP stuff is already in there, but your addition is undue weight, furthermore you start to include quotes from them granting even more undue weight. civility
[edit]I find your intentional misspelling of my name on the binders talk page to be highly uncivil. Please fix. Thank you. William Jockusch (talk) 19:50, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
Misplaced comment
[edit]I reverted your edit that placed a comment on the user page of William Jockusch. Please repost on his talk page instead. -- Scjessey (talk) 00:09, 11 November 2012 (UTC)
