My references to 'Maitreya as Antichrist' was deleted. This is a real world aspect & widely held opinion by many Christians & should be considered as a possible aspect of what Maitreya 'may' be. There is fair ground to place a parallels with scriptural teachings side by side with the descriptions of Maitreya. There are many very close parallels which have a right to be considered by those who read this page. I think it is fair that this opinion be included on this page to keep it as objective as possible. The idea of Maitreya is by no means a 'truth'. It should be open to discussion, debate and speculation. Any less & it would be considered undemocratic, biased & in particular, 'protected'.
