Welcome to Wikipedia. I would appreciate your comments on the discussions at User talk:Mfiddy about Mannatech and Glyconutrients. If you aren't too fatigued by it, there is a huge historical discussion on the Talk page at Glyconutrients.--I'clast 11:05, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think we have a IP ranging (76...) spam[1] and vandal[2],[3] problem at Glyconutrient & Mannatech.--I'clast 01:19, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

agreed - check out the post on my user page. do you know how to deal with this?True manna 04:02, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, start reading WP:VANDAL and WP:DNFT, you're supposed to try to warn them first and try to get them to engage productively. Looks like an upset "true believer" of the MT hype machine, perhaps they can be convinced to register an ID and get a stable talk page (I guess 2-3 copies/links at IPs, here, MT:Talk, maybe Glyco-). Nicely. Our biggest problem is their education level and independent knowledge resource base. With modern hs/ba diplomas, many won't know and can't find out what facts they can rely on as well as their inherent financial issue & COI. If it doesn't moderate, then we look at calling admins. At least you know that your writing has had impact.--I'clast 04:31, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

true enough. hopefully a warning (now given) will suffice. I actually wouldn't mind if someone expanded the "products" section slightly to provide some balance, if the edits weren't adverts.True manna 07:18, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

''Just a note to the so called true manna. Please release your true intention of writing up this prejudiced page."

Easy one. See the first line above: to provide balanced and well-referenced information for the Mannatech page.True manna 05:18, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Tell us why you are anti-Mannatech. If you are anti-Mannatech or pro-Mannatech, you are not neutral any more."

Well, actually if you look back in the Manntech page history you'll see I've reverted the anti-Mannatech-POV edits of others. I strive for factual, NPOV information.True manna 05:19, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"You are not qualified to write such page for the world to see. Because people will be blinded or mislead by your misinformation. You are commiting a crime to deprive people's right to the nutritional products otherwise could be very beneficial to them.''

Actually a PhD in Cell Biology is probably as good a qualification to write this page as any. Still, editing on Wikipedia is for anyone who wishes to be constructive, regardless of credentials.True manna 05:19, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Also, 76...Wikipedia has policies that we assume the good faith of other editors, WP:AGF and talk civilly, WP:CIVIL to each other (e.g. intention...., not qualified... & crime...) and try maintain a Neutral Point of View WP:NPOV. That's a lot of reading, but carefully polite usually works well. You're new and it takes time to get the hang of it, Welcome to Wikipedia.--I'clast 05:07, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

''Mannatech provides scientifically validated nuritional supplements to improve people's health."

If you can provide proof of this, I would be happy for it to be part of the Mannatech page. I find such evidence rather lacking, to say the least.True manna 05:21, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Through MannaRelief charity organization they send nutritional supplements to the kids in orphanages of more than 72 countries. What are you doing to better the world and humanity other than providing only the misinformation and bad news on this webpage. Just go back to your world and live a good life. Be a man. Be a kind person people loves instead of a person trying to degrade other people's good intention. Be true to yourself. Are you a distributor of another multi-level marketing company such as USANA who tries to beat its competitors down or what else.''

Actually, editing the Mannatech page is very true to myself, thanks. I also believe it is part of my living a good life. Trust me, I would N E V E R take part in selling anything through multi-level marketing. That would be very "not" true to myself, nor would it be part of my vision of leading a good life. True manna 05:23, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
And why do you assume I am a man?True manna 05:21, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
76...Please WP:AGF, again, among others.--I'clast 05:07, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Both of you. Please sign your edits in Talk with --~~~~ to time & sign your work, otherwise conversations get very confusing to new participants. see Wikipedia:Sign your posts on talk pages--I'clast 05:07, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, will do. I've fixed mine. True manna 05:30, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
