Article discrepancy
[edit]- Stubsensor never edits an article, only humans do. See the how to help section for the instructions to the volunteers.
If you are another contributor who believes the stub tag has been removed from an article in error this is the place for you. Please list the article, the reason, and sign your comment. The goal is to work together to make sure stubsensor incorrectly locates as few articles as possible and make sure the instructions for the volunteers are as concise as possible. - Hi, I'd just thought I'd point out that with an article like Oregon's 1st congressional district, the article may seem long, but the actual text is quite short and the length is supplied by the tables. If you still feel a stub tag is inappropriate, I would suggest replacing it with the expansion template {{expand}}. Thanks! Katr67 17:10, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
- Makes sense, I've replaced the stub tags on Oregon's 1st congressional district and Oregon's 3rd congressional district - thanks for your input! PGWG 17:26, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
Bad stub removal
[edit]This is the worst bot i've seen on WP to date. By removing the stubs, it de-categorises the article from the relevant stub category and makes it even harder for people interested in the topic to clean it up. How about putting a stop to this PITA bot until you can come up with a fix for this issue. Thewinchester (talk) 06:35, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
- Hello, calm down please. It is not a bot, all removals are done by people. Almost all articles that are stubs are also categorized normally, and if they are not, the volunteer who removes the stub can add the relevant category. There is really not a problem I think. S Sepp 09:22, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
