Welcome! I see that you started your article yesterday. On the article's talk page, I left some instructions on how to nominate it for the "Did you know" section of Wikipedia's Main Page. Good luck!--Sage Ross - Online Facilitator, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 13:53, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
DYK for Multicast encryption
[edit]On 14 May 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Multicast encryption, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that multicast encryption is what enables a node on a network to send one unit of data to a special set of receivers? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

You really could have put a bit more effort into the multicast encryption article. It is completely misleading as written. Multicast encryption has nothing specifically to do with Internet multicast, but it is about efficient key distribution and revocation for large dynamic receiver groups with bidirectional connectivity.
