User talk:Treadlightly2006
Hi, I had noticed that you have edited a number of articles that fall under our project. If you are interested, we are always looking for more help on the project. With over 5,000 state highways, loops, spurs, farm and ranch roads in Texas, it is a daunting task. --Holderca1 22:50, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
Sure I am interested. I would rather do them by location though, rather than numerical sequence if that's OK. I would like to do them for the TX Counties I have lived in if that's OK - Montague, Clay, Coryell, and Lubbock. That should be enough to keep me busy for a while. --Treadlightly2006
- Absolutely. Feel free to work on which ever highways you feel comfortable with. One thing I did notice though is that you are using our old infobox. We have not fully converted over to the new one on all the pages. You can find the new one on our project page. If you have any problems using it, let me know. Nice to have you aboard. --Holderca1 10:58, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- You are going to have to help me with that new infobox. First, I can't find an FM that actually has the right box working correctly (i.e. the FM images don't come out). I tooled around with it for a while and couldn't get the FM sign to come up correctly.
- The problem with the images is the result of a conversion Wikipedia wide from *.png images to *.svg images. A lot of the shields have not been created yet in the svg format. The guy that had been creating our shields is on a bit of a hiatus right now. Post a request on the project talk page for the shields that you need and I will try and find someone to help us out. Or I can try and figure out how to make them. --Holderca1 14:02, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
US town articles
[edit]Hello there, and thanks for creating articles about US locations. When you create them, however, please remember to put the US-geo-stub at the end! --Nehwyn 10:21, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, that should be {{Texas-geo-stub}}... US-geo-stub is only used for places that cross several state lines :) Grutness...wha? 03:57, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, got it. I'll fix. 5 OCT 06
- Or I guess you already did... Thanks.
Highway shields
[edit]I know you were having problems with the shields in some of the infoboxes, let me know the shield number (i.e. FM 2102, SH 210, RM 12, ect...) on my talk page and I will take care of it for you. --Holderca1 18:30, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

The events are as follows:
We hope that you will be able to join us, whether you are an experienced editor or are using Wikipedia for the first time.
