If the behavioral anlaysis did't reveal "anything to indicate connection to the other two" and the technical investigation concluded only a "possible" connection, why am I still under accusation? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.118.64.203 (talk) 19:33, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I noted today with sadness that I was blocked as "sockpuppet" of a specific editor named Iassi. I think it is a misunderstanding, I really don't know who this person is. I am reading this discussion: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Iaaasi/Archive#20_September_2011 (that I am surprised I was not announced of, because any accused party should have a chance to defend himself) and I don't realize very clearly what happened. Someone wrote there that "I don't see anything to indicate connection to the other two. Then again, I'm not sure on Transilvania based on behavioral alone. I might only check Transilvania vs Iaaasi. The other two would seem to be on the verge of fishing, and I would disregard them. NativeForeigner Talk/Contribs " while someone else affirmed "TransilvaniaROU is Possible - Same geographic area, similar useragent." - possible means not impossible, doesn't the innocence presumption apply here? What means "Same geographic area"? I am from Deva, Romania, a little town with a population of 65,000 inhabitants, and I really doubt that he lives here too, there would be a terrible coincidence. The fact that I made by chance edits at 2 articles where he contributed too is incriminating? That user edited hundreds of articles, there is a very high probability to find someone who edited 2 of these

Decline reason:

you need to keep reading at that sockpuppet report. There's more evidence under the heading for your other sock. Elen of the Roads (talk) 22:04, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I can't believe that this is happening. I am accused for editing Magyarization and History of Hungary which were in the field of interest of Iaassi. But there are several other users who edited both of these articles: PANONIAN, Hobartimus, Squash Racket. Why am I not considered a sock-puppet of them? On the other hand, Iassi edited hundreds of articles, there are very many users who edited 2 of these hundreds. What importance has the fact that I reverted vandalism at Rolf Schock Prizes, while Iassi edited List of Nobel laureates? The fact that both were prizes is a sufficient similarity? Soon you will say that editing an article about a blonde person like someone else did means that I am him!
I did not bother anyone or break any wikipedia rule during my short wikipedia activity, but nevertheless I was blocked "just to be sure Iassi is not evading his block"?

Decline reason:

You're from the same area that Iaaasi has edited from (I can tell just from comparing your IP to addresses he has used in the past). Your edits are very similar, for example adding Google Books citations to the same article (here and here). Just too much adds up to me that convinces me that you're the same person, and it's more than simply editing the same subjects as a sockmaster. -- Atama 21:16, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
