These are important!!
[edit]To avoid annoying your fellow editors, please start to do things properly:
- 1. Put your signature at the end of a sentence, not on the next line.
- 2. Do not put a blank space between the beginning of a new line and your signature.
- 3. Do not put every sentence you write on a new line. Combine sentences into paragraphs. When you change the subject, leave a blank line and start a new paragraph.
- 4. When responding to someone else's comment, indent your comment one tab more than the comment you're replying to. Tabs are made by using colons (:), If the comment you're replying to has two colons (::) at the bgeinning, then yours should have three colons (:::). DO NOT START EVERY COMMENT AT THE EDGE oF tHE PAGE WITHOUT INDENTING, it makes the dialogue very hard to read.
- 5. Read and understand WP:Reliable sources
- 6. Information added to article without a supporting citation from a reliable source is subject to being removed at any time.
- 7 You are responsible for finding the citations needed for material you want to add to an article, nobody else.
- 8 For about the 14th time: WIKIPEDIA IS NOT A RELIABLE SOURCE. You cannot cite a Wikipedia article to support facts, they will be rejected every time.
We have a policy here, it's called WP:CIR and it means "Competency is required", which means that if you can't learn these simple rules -- and the others by which Wikipedia runs -- you could be blocked from editing. Now, you're a new editor, so a lot of leeway is being given to you, because we all know that Wikipedia has a steep learning curve, but that leeway will not last forever. So, please, if you want to continue editing here, learn the ropes and be a good citizen of our community.
If you have questions, the place to go is WP:TEAHOUSE. The editors there have a lot of patience and will help you through whatever problem you have. Beyond My Ken (talk) 06:46, 31 August 2019 (UTC)
