Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Online focus group. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 19:30, 3 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message on my talk page. As I pointed out in the edit summary where I reverted your link addition, the link you replaced was not good (and I have since removed it) but that has no bearing on whether the link you added was appropriate or not. Please have a look at this information about the kind of links that are inappropriate for Wikipedia. The link you added to Transcription (linguistics) is unfortunately also inappropriate - as is the link you replaced with yours. Neither of those websites should be linked from Wikipedia articles. Thanks! --bonadea contributions talk 16:32, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
