[edit]Hello, I'm Drmies. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 17:52, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- Hello Drmies. I did provide reliable sources for every single one of my additions. Further more you've removed some parts of the article that weren't even mine, not to mention that if you had a problem with things I've added you could have removed just those parts as it is clearly visible what I've added and what I didn't add. Adding relevant (missing) information is not vandalism. TransIphis (talk) 18:01, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- What I mean by you removing parts of the articles I haven't had enything to do with I'm talking about the entirety of Political impact part of the article. TransIphis (talk) 18:07, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- You reinstated material that I think is inappropriate; your revert (without a single explanation!) was disruptive. In addition, I wonder if you have a conflict of interest, and I'm going to drop a note about that as well. But the first thing you need to do is to stop simply reverting, and argue your case on the article talk page. Drmies (talk) 18:10, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- Also dear your erasure of Political impact and Zagreb Pride History could be interpreted as queer phobic. Since I'm not really sure your editing is honest. Especially for the reason that you removed Political impact portion of the article. And that part wasn't even touched by me. If you had problems with some other aditions I've made you could've, if your intentions were honest, just removed my aditions. BUt you didn't instead you removed two full portions of the article. TransIphis (talk) 18:40, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- And it's "Zagrebačka povorka ponosa" not "ZZagrebačka povorka ponosa"
- cunt TransIphis (talk) 18:44, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- And native name is "Zagreb Pride" I would know because I read my sources ;) TransIphis (talk) 18:46, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- Your "pruneing a bit" is unnecessary at best TransIphis (talk) 18:49, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- "claim" Was perfectly fine, chaining it is just like teacher asking a student "I don't know can you?" after they ask the teacher if they can go use the toilet
- Quit being petty, it's not a good look on you :) TransIphis (talk) 18:59, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Zagreb Pride, you may be blocked from editing. Drmies (talk) 18:06, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Zagreb Pride, you may be blocked from editing. A warning for unsourced material, just to make things clear--and part of that is for adding/re-adding material that is not directly related to the subject of the article, meaning the political impact (see WP:SYNTH). Drmies (talk) 18:07, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- None of material that I've added was unsourced all of the information is relevant to the topics at hand. As far as I see the Political impact portion of the article is well sourced with relevant information. TransIphis (talk) 18:10, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, TransIphis. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 18:10, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- None of the edits were done with purpose of advertising.
- I am not editing articles about myself.
- I do not have any conflicts of interest since I do not work for any of organizations that I have named as sources.
- I did not link to "my" organization since I do not work in any of them. All organizations linked were linked in purpose to make it easier for people to access original sources.
- I am doing my best.
- TransIphis (talk) 18:15, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- Now if you'll excuse me I have to undo your shit show. Adding to articles that haven't been properly edited in years is not vandalism TransIphis (talk) 18:17, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- I apologize that a small country like Croatia doesn't have 50 different organizations it can cite. I also find it funny how someone who's first language isn't even Croatian could read through so many sources so fast... Almost as if proper assessment wasn't done. This took whole day and I was careful with my sources. But hey I guess that doesn't change anything since people can't even be bothered to check the sources cited properly . TransIphis (talk) 18:25, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- The question was whether you have a conflict of interest with Zagreb Pride, not whether you were editing about yourself or had a COI with the organizations you incorrectly linked inline. You seem to be just avoiding the question, responding in a passive-aggressive manner, and so the question is actually still unanswered. Drmies (talk) 20:51, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- I do not have conflict of interest with any organization I cited that includes Zagreb Pride. TransIphis (talk) 20:53, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- You should do better job of reading through the sources and not just mindlessly delete entire portions of articles. TransIphis (talk) 20:55, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- Well, we're the English wiki; perhaps you can comment on this edit, where I changed something incomprehensible into proper English after looking at the source. "Mindlessly delete" is yet another personal attack, and I've had enough of that. Perhaps you can have a look at WP:AGF, and consider whether you actually want to be part of a collaborative project, or whether you just want to yell at people. Drmies (talk) 21:05, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- I'm not yelling at you. And where did I negate that this is English wiki? Nothing in original was "incomprehensible". Perhaps you should not think so highly of yourself especially when you can't take criticism? I've had enough of you not even acknowledging that you deleted entire portions of article with no good explanation.
- Oh and big flex you rearranged and changed some words in an article. How many languages do you speak? Except of course English.
- What do you as an American even know about Balkan and Balkan queer activism?
- Do you have enough cultural knowledge to appropriately judge what is or isn't relevant? I don't think that you do.
- If anything your initial removal of two entire portions of the article were real vandalism.
- Vandalism of important site relevant to entire country and wider region. TransIphis (talk) 21:18, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- "(another unexplained revert. of course these have flags and whatever, and "shouted slogans" is sophomoric writing)" uuuuuuu someone is maaaad. And the best part is that isn't even the part that I edited so what is your sorry excuse now? TransIphis (talk) 21:25, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
