Edits to Bermuda Page, 14 April, 2006

[edit]

Hallo,

Just wanted to explain why I removed your two recent additions to the Bermuda page. I removed "The Duke of Windsor Governor: during World War II" as he was actually the Bahamas Governor, from 1940 to 1945. He did pass THROUGH Bermuda, on his way to taking up that position. There is a photograph of him visiting the Bermuda Flying School on Darrell's Island on my url at, http://www.geocities.com/mhicgherri/raf-images6.html . You can also check the government website, which mentions his governorship, at http://www.royal.gov.uk/OutPut/Page143.asp .

I didn't delete the link you added to http://www.regiments.org/regiments/atlantic/volmil/inf/bm-regt.htm under 'Military History, but moved it to the Bermuda Regiment page, which seemed like the ideal place for it. It's a good site you chose to link to, which actually links to my own: http://www.geocities.com/gpvillain/bermudaregiment.html .

Redirects

[edit]

On 15-May, you created a "soft" redirect from Archibald MacIndoe to Archibald McIndoe. You should do a real redirect in cases like this. The instructions for how are at Wikipedia:Redirect. I've fixed this one, but if you need help in the future, let me know. Thanks! -- JLaTondre 02:24, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Winston Forman, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Winston Forman. You may remove the deletion notice, and the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Toverprins! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot notifying you on behalf of the the unreferenced biographies team that 1 of the articles that you created is currently tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 68 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
