Ice-albedo feedback peer review (Rudy)
[edit]- Reading the article makes me wonder if the ice-albedo feedback is a runaway effect, can snowball earth be seen as runaway in one direction, in the other direction does all the ice on the planet melt?
- Is there a citation for inducing earthquakes via post-glacial rebound
- What are the effects of the sea warming due to ice retreat?
- Are the sea level rises expected pertinent to human life, or are we talking more like centimeters?
Lede
[edit]- Move up the "Ice is very reflective...leading to more warning" to right after the first sentence. This would probably lead better into the global climate change sentence.
- The "The change in albedo acts to reinforce...leading to more cooling"
Evidence
[edit]- "regional warming in" could change to "regional warming due to"
- maybe also write "[Because of this] the cryosphere is"
- "it can also potentially induce[s]" no need for the s
- What is a slushy snowball?
