Thanks for editing Touch football (rugby league). Your addition of a link was reverted as it wasn't actually for touch football. Ozdaren (talk) 11:19, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
Hi Ozdaren, I don't understand? I play kickit touch football. it is a form of touch football in Brisbane that allows you to kick the ball. Wiki shows "Touch Football(rugby league)" this game is more similar to the origins of touch football as kickit touch football is non-contact rugby league.
- Hi. There are a number of points which justify the deletion of the link you provided. The 1st one is your sport, although it uses the name touch football as part of its trading name is not actually touch football. Touch footy doesn't allow you to kick the ball. Other similar sports may use a similar name but they don't follow the rules of touch footy. Secondly the link you added is for a commercial for profit business. All the other links are for not for profit state or national governing bodies. The use of rugby league in the name of the wikipedia article is misleading (one of the problems of wikipedia). It has rugby league in brackets to show its origins and to differentiate it from other rugby derived sports (although no touch football associations use that appendage). I hope this all shows you why I've deleted your link. Ozdaren (talk) 12:52, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
