[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from pages that you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. -- pb30<talk> 20:26, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Izzyprints
[edit]A tag has been placed on Izzyprints, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article Izzyprints has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 22:54, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
- The reasons I tagged it were
- It had been deleted before (in the deletion log
- It looked like an advert.

If you think other articles are about non-notable subjects, feel free to tag them for deletion as well. See WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. NawlinWiki (talk) 23:12, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
- If you think you can create an article about Izzyprints that meets Wikipedia's guidelines for notability for companies and verifiability through reliable independent sources, try drafting it in your userspace. Here's a link you can use: User:Torrelalexis/Izzyprints. Once you've done that, let me know and I'll look at it. NawlinWiki (talk) 12:58, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
