Day of the Dead
[edit]When you claimed to have "restored plot to filmmaker's intentions", are you claiming to be George Romero again, or is this what you mean when you say that editing an encyclopaedia should be "fun"?
I've reverted your edits, as you seem to be deleting perfectly relevant (and sourced) material about the film, and the ungrammatical stream-of-consciousness plot summary you've put forward is inappropriate for an encyclopaedia. If there are factual inaccuracies in the existing plot summary, it might be easier just to correct them individually. Thanks. --McGeddon (talk) 17:50, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
- I just reverted your unconstructive edits to the Day of the Dead page, don't revert it back to YOURS okay. It's against wikipedia guidelines pluss consensus is against you so STOP, okay. --Day of the Dead (talk) 19:01, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
- Oh yeah. See [1], to see how a plot section should be written here on English wikipedia OKAY. See Halloween (1978 film) it's a Featured Article, which means it's one of the best articles on the encyclopedia okay. You may also note that the plot section is even smaller there then what it is in the Day of the Dead article. --Day of the Dead (talk) 19:25, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
Sure, you're right that we shouldn't go into too much detail about the other films, when they have their own articles - it's useful to mention the ways in which they directly relate to Day of the Dead, though (rather than just saying "there was an unofficial quasi-prequel" and forcing the reader to click through to find out what "quasi-prequel" actually means in this context). --McGeddon (talk) 19:32, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry about the last comments, okay. But seriously we need to find a solution okay, let's talk this out, okay. So let us discuss this before you start editing the Day of the Dead article again. --Day of the Dead (talk) 14:46, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
- See here another featured article The Texas Chain Saw Massacre which has a much bigger section for "Sequels", so you don't need to shorten that section down. Its already been shorten McGeddon. So please stop shorting it down. And again can you promise me that we can talk this out. Instead of edit warring over the article. --Day of the Dead (talk) 14:57, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
"Rhoades"
[edit]Is this just a typo, or some nuance of the script or credits? --McGeddon (talk) 19:18, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
