hyperlinks are especially important in Wikipedia entries because they provide ready access to more in-depth information on related topics. In general, your entry would benefit from additional hyperlinks, some of which I've added.
I found some of your discussions to be excessively wordy. A Wikipedia entry should be concise and to the point, with strict economy of language. Look at the changes I have made and consider how other language can be more tightly condensed and consolidated.
I like the concept behind this entry and the examples that you provide. However, the article really needs a more clear introduction and a conclusion to help identify specifically what is meant by "political archaeology." What are the specific ideological goals that are served? What can be done to prevent arcahaeology from being overtly political and ideological? You will find several of the chapters in your text Archaeological Fantasies to be relevant, especially the ones that discuss Nazi archaeology and Hindutva, which are two other examples of political archaeology.
