Giving warnings
[edit]Hi, if you want to give warnings, you should generally substitute the template rather than copying and pasting the warning. If for some reason you do feel the need to copy and paste a warning, please make sure you remove any existing signature and WP:sign it yourself. Please note if you do not know how to use templates or what they are, this is very likely a sign you should not be giving warnings. Warnings and especially templates warnings should only be given by editors who know what they are doing, since the editor needs to make sure they are justified and may be useful. Note that per WP:Don't template the regulars, it's often a bad idea to give templated warnings to experienced editors. The purpose of templated warnings is first and foremost to inform editors of our policies and guidelines that they may not be familiar. Experienced editors generally have sufficient experience with these that templated warnings are not normally useful. Furthermore, while editors generally have to have been informed of our policies and guidelines before they may be blocked for violating them, for an experienced editors it's generally accepted they should be aware of most of them and so there is no need to show they were informed before they may be blocked. [edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Joy Behar. KyleJoantalk 01:23, 23 June 2021 (UTC)
