Hello
[edit]We're glad you created an account and we hope you are here to help build an encyclopedia. New accounts are required to edit at least 50 times every day for the first month. This helps us ensure that new editors are serious contributors and not vandals or troublemakers. I see that you are under the 50 edit minimum. Please increase your editing frequency or your account will be deactivated. Again, welcome from all here at Wikipedia! MoozerSkadoozer (talk) 06:15, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
- Haha. This is actually a joke hello. There is no minimum number of edits. Please edit as you see fit. Enjoy! MoozerSkadoozer (talk) 06:25, 14 May 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to the Lemony Snicket task force! You can help out by working on some of the items in the short to-do list (below), checking out the long to-do list, or just doing whatever you want. — the Man in Question (in question) 07:12, 14 May 2010 (UTC)

- Many articles need copy editing for grammar or spelling
- Many articles contain an excessive amount of intricate detail that may only interest a specific audience
- Many articles lack complete information from the series
- (See details at the task force To-do List)
Welcome to the Novels WikiProject
[edit]Hi, and welcome to the Novels WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to fiction books, often referred to as "novels".
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- The announcement and open task box is updated quite regularly. You can watch it if you're interested; or, you can add it directly to your user page by including {{WikiProject Novels announcements}} there.
While you are updating your userpage, don't forget our userbox {{Wikipedia:WikiProject Novels/Outreach/User WPNOVELS}}. - Important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
- Planning on starting some new articles? Our article structure guidelines / template outlines some things to include.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask one of the coordinators or an experienced member of the project; we will be happy to assist in any way we can. Again, welcome, and we look forward to seeing you around!
