End of Year Charts

[edit]

I saw your comments at WikiProject Australian music unfortunately whilst there are a number of editors working on various Oz music projects individually there doesn't seem to much desire to work collabratively on projects. In saying that I'm happy to assist and I'm sure that I can find someone else who might be willing to help out. Maybe if we all took a year starting with 1993 we could work our way up to the current year. If you want to work up the wiki-table I'll look at adding the templates to the various articles. Gibbsy, just a short note: don't forget to create a talkpage for each new article you make. Also give it an assessment. I've done the 2008 Singles list for you.Shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 21:40, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You need to get your act together - you are letting down the team (lol) Dan arndt (talk) 05:45, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Women's Cricket

[edit]

Hi. Thanks for your message. I was just trying to do a basic stub page so at least we had something, if you've got a proper article ready to go then by all means blank the page and put your version in there instead. I'm sure it'll be a great improvement on my passing effort! Well done. I look forward to seeing it up there. Nick mallory (talk) 11:13, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I live in sydney at the moment and was able to go see all the England games except the first in Canberra. The standard was really good, the final very exciting and the England team magnificent. The girls should have flown straight out to the West Indies instead of that shower of a men's team we have right now. It's great the Women's World Cups are finally going to get the coverage they deserve here. Well done. Nick mallory (talk) 07:55, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No problems about the editing, with players who are yet to debut, you have to be very careful to avoid the deletionists quoting WP:ATHLETE and wanting them to be deleted. After last year's draft a whole bunch were nominated for deletion and a lot that were unreferenced were deleted. Those with decent reliable references were kept. Despite the fact that notability-based AFDs should not be about the article's quality, I find is that the "worse" a page is (ie unencyclopedic content such as "he's such a hot babe" or "will be the next Judd/Ablett/Lockett" type of things, or attract attention you tube links or other problems) are the ones that are most likely to be deleted, regardless of their inherent notability or references that are provided. Stick mainly to the major papers, try to steer clear of self-published stuff from the actual clubs and avoid trivial mentions in lists or generic stories, then you should be OK. Going into too much detail on junior clubs is also generally not required as it really isn't that significant. Cheers, The-Pope (talk) 09:46, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The file File:Tnimage593.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 28 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
