Hi Tomruen.

Thanks for the List of Coxeter groups.

I've yet to see a Venn diagram of groups information... is it possible?

Thanks,

Art Scott

Sorry, I don't think I know what that could really mean. Tom Ruen (talk) 23:52, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

G2, H3, H4

[edit]

G2 is applied to the hexagon, the final of the polygons to have a integer shortchord-square. This corresponds to a Dynkin symbol with three bars connecting the two nodes (ie o===o , where = is really three lines, not two).

H3, H4 appear by Coxeter, to add symmetries that don't give rise to Lie groups, to wit {3,5}, {3,3,5}. Calling these G are likely to confuse. --Wendy.krieger (talk) 11:05, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

compact hyperbolic

  • [p,q] , p,q>=3, p+q>9
  • [p,q,r:] , p,q,r>=3, p+q+r>9

I don't see [5,4] here ... —Tamfang (talk) 19:42, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
