US Airways

[edit]Hi, thank you for adding articles into categories. Unfortunately, I think you went beyond what Wikipedia expects, and I have removed some of your changes. Please take a look at Wikipedia:Categorization for policies, especially "Articles should not usually be in both a category and its subcategory." and "Restraint should be used as categories become less effective the more there are on any given article. Call for consensus on fan site list on Andy Murray page

You've probably noticed my (probably foolhardy) attempt to resolve the edit war on the Andy Murray page regarding fansites. The protagonists do not look about to resolve it among themselves, so I'd appreciate it if you and other regular editors could express your views on this part of the page, so that we can stop the war going forward, or at least block a protagonist who persists in it. Please come to the talk page here

Please can I have the opinions of those who regularly edit this site:
1.Should there be a list of fansites?
2.Should it be ordered
- a) alphabetically
- b) by site's popularity or quality
- c) by some other factor
3. If by popularity/quality how to judge this?

Categorisation of UK airports
[edit]I take it you refering to my reverts earlier today with remove the duplicate categories that were added to a number of UK airports yesterday. This is nothing to do with Scotland, or being Scottish - you'll notice most airports were actually in England, Wales or the London area.
I don't know how much familiarity you have with the categorisation system, but categories are a hierarchy. Please read Wikipedia:Category, and subpages, and also have a thorough browse of some different category trees - eg. start at Category:Fundamental. There you will see that articles are not entered in both a category and its parent. For example Category:Airports in Scotland is a subcat of Category:Airports in the United Kingdom, therefore we do not need to enter it in both: by being in the Scottish subcat it is already in the UK-wide cat. Same for England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the London region.
I tried to leave a comment about this on User talk:72.80.169.118 this morning, but the page is blocked from editing.
You'll find leaving threats is unlikely to get you anywhere.

- Why did you change your birthday (on your user page, see the diff) from "1/12/82 or December 1st 1982" to "1/12/82 or December 1st 1982"?
I am particularly concerned about the first issue. EvocativeIntrigue reverted the initial comment posted by 72.89.173.71 because he or she impersonated you, but you promptly posted the exact same comment under your name here. From this I inferred that you and 72.89.173.71 are the same users. Similarly, in the AfD nomination for MurraysWorld.com, 72.89.173.71 posted the first comment, but under your name. Same with the next comment, the next one and the next one. Again, I assume that you are posting under two accounts, because you posted the same commment from your own account as the impersonated comment which EvocativeIntrigue reverted. Please post from a single account, and sign your posts by adding --~~~~ to the end. If you end up posting from an IP address, sign your comments with that IP address; if you post from your user name, sign your comments with that user name. Do not post with an IP address and then proceed to sign it with your user name.
