\operatorname

Hello.

I've done some copy-editing on the new article titled epi-convergence. Please note the use of \operatorname{epi} instead of \text{epi }. If you write

A \operatorname{epi} B

then an appropriate amount of space appears on each side, and in

A \opreatorname{epi}(B)

there is less space on the right than on the left. Thus:

In those respects this behaves just like \sin, \cos, \max, \sup, \det, \log, etc. That is standard usage. Michael Hardy (talk) 23:48, 14 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
