Dostoyevsky clarification needed

Hi. In English we can't speak of a "fulfilled literary work" -- the phrase will not be understood. Did you mean a completed literary work, or what? Cheers, --Stfg (talk) 09:40, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

Did you miss this? I've had to tag the article instead. --Stfg (talk) 18:58, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thanks for your continuing effort on this one. I've added back "narodnost" as it is part of a quote, and added an editor clarification in square brackets within that quote. It seems likely that narodnost, a word of developing meaning, means what I have now written per here, and is most likely the earlier meaning, as Belinsky had died (see here) perhaps before the meaning had changed to that definition of "radical critics", such as Nikolay Dobrolyubov mentioned in Britannica. I am taking a bit of a stab, but I think it the safer option. I removed the adjective fantastic as it has duel meaning, and as I don't think the reviewer meant that the work was wonderful or excellent, but absurd, strange, and eccentric, but I'm not sure what single word to add that doesn't imply criticism. I've given the pen name of Titov in case someone wrongly thinks it might be spaceman Vladimir Titov. At some point we could take this one for review with an eye to what else is needed for GA. Russian Booker Prize

Hi Tomcat7, suggest you move this article to List of winners of the Russian Booker Prize, then we can cap the comments and focus on the FLC. Best wishes. The Rambling Man (talk) 09:58, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

I'm happy to do this for you if you like? I could then restore some of the material from the original article before Cardamom derailed it to a "main" article. The Rambling Man (talk) 09:18, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
I won't be responding to the never-ending comments, so you may replace me as the nominator or close the page. Regards.--Tomcat (7) 09:42, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
Ok, I'll archive it. I don't have time to deal with that editor's never-ending drum beating. The Rambling Man (talk) 09:50, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

FLC review request

Hi Tomcat! Could I trouble you to please help review my current FLC nom? Almost a month has past since I first nominated it; I've already appealed to the community project but no one has responded, so you're basically my last hope. Cheers! —Bloom6132 (talk) 20:43, 7 June 2013 (UTC)

WikiProject Good Articles Recruitment Centre

Hello! Now, some of you might have already received a similar message a little while ago regarding the Recruitment Centre, so if you have, there is no need to read the rest of this. This message is directed to users who have reviewed over 15 Good article nominations and are not part of WikiProject Good articles (the first message I sent out went to only WikiProject members).

So for those who haven't heard about the Recruitment Centre yet, you may be wondering why there is a Good article icon with a bunch of stars around it (to the right). The answer? WikiProject Good articles will be launching a Recruitment Centre very soon! The centre will allow all users to be taught how to review Good article nominations by experts just like you! However, in order for the Recruitment Centre to open in the first place, we need some volunteers:

  • Recruiters: The main task of a recruiter is to teach users that have never reviewed a Good article nomination how to review one. To become a recruiter, all you have to do is meet this criteria. If we don't get at least 5-10 recruiters to start off with (at the time this message was sent out, 2 recruiters have volunteered), the Recruitment Centre will not open. If interested, make sure you meet the criteria, read the process and add your name to the list of recruiters. (One of the great things about being a recruiter is that there is no set requirement of what must be taught and when. Instead, all the content found in the process section is a guideline of the main points that should be addressed during a recruitment session...you can also take an entire different approach if you wish!) If you think you will not have the time to recruit any users at this time but are still interested in becoming a recruiter, you can still add your name to the list of recruiters but just fill in the "Status" parameter with "Not Available".
  • Co-Director: The current Director for the centre is me (Dom497). Another user that would be willing to help with some of the tasks would be helpful. Tasks include making sure recruiters are doing what they should be (teaching!), making sure all recruitments are archived correctly, updating pages as needed, answering any questions, and distributing the feedback form. If interested, please contact me (Dom497).
  • Nominators, please read this: If you are not interested in becoming a recruiter, you can still help. In some cases a nominator may have an issue with an "inexperienced" editor (the recruitee) reviewing one of their nominations. To minimize the chances of this happening, if you are fine with a recruitee reviewing one of your nominations under the supervision of the recruiter, please add your name to the list at the bottom of this page. By adding your name to this list, chances are that your nomination will be reviewed more quickly as the recruitee will be asked to choose a nomination from the list of nominators that are OK with them reviewing the article.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to seeing this program bring new reviewers to the Good article community and all the positive things it will bring along.

A message will be sent out to all recruiters regarding the date when the Recruitment Centre will open when it is determined. The message will also contain some further details to clarify things that may be a bit confusing.--Dom497 (talk)

Talk:Wilhelm_Busch#German_painters

Hey I was about to review this article for GA candidacy and saw Talk:Wilhelm_Busch#German_painters, perhaps you should address that, first, and then I can proceed on to the review itself? Good luck, — Cirt (talk) 23:30, 16 June 2013 (UTC)
