Aconcagua
[edit]Please check your maps for Aconcagua or click on the map coordinates in the article and select from any of the links on the resulting page. I looked at Google Earth and see that Aconcagua is clearly and fully contained within Argentina. Depending on how you count them, there are either two or three valleys between Aconcagua and the ridge that forms the Chile/Argentina border. Thank you. -- Tcncv (talk) 02:33, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- Why do you keep changing the article, when all evidence appears to indicate that Aconcagua is entirely contained within the borders or Argentina? Do you have a source that accurately shows a position different from the other sources? Please respond here or on the Aconcagua discussion page before making any further changes. -- Tcncv (talk) 03:17, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Lockheed Vega YB-40 Bomber Escort (Modified B-17).jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Lockheed Vega YB-40 Bomber Escort (Modified B-17).jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 14:56, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. File copyright problem with File:OuSee.JPG
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:OuSee.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 11:21, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
Courageous class aircraft carriers
[edit]I've reverted your edits to the three Courageous class aircraft carriers as they do not conform to the Wiki standards for lead paragraphs. They're supposed to summarize the entire article, not list sister ships in a very awkward format.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 22:01, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
Your submission at Articles for creation
[edit]I noticed your submission in Articles for creation, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Paul Ernst Fackenheim. Thanks! It will be reviewed by a volunteer soon.
Before it can be added to Wikipedia, your submission should have references. All articles on Wikipedia should have inline, numbered references after facts, showing the 'reliable source' (a newspaper, book, etc.) where the information can be checked, so that all information is verifiable.
Here's an example of how to add references:
He likes tea.<ref> Smith, John. "[http://foonews.com/Article42 Interview with Chzz]", Foo News, 1 April 2010. Retrieved 2011-05-22. </ref>
== References ==
{{reflist}}
That makes the references automatically display as small numbers[1] which will link to the details in the section titled == References == at the end. You can see that example in action here.
Please add references to your submission, which will be reviewed as soon as possible. See also, Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners. If you need any help, just put {{helpme}} at the end of this page, followed by a question or get into our live help chat chanel at #wikipedia-en-help connect.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
