Discretionary sanctions alert for articles and content relating to the Arab-Israeli conflict
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have recently shown interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Until you have made 500 edits, you may not edit any content relating to the Arab-Israeli dispute
[edit]You will find that there are articles that you simply cannot edit as our software stops you. There are other articles which are not primarily about the dispute and you are able to edit those articles but you may not edit any material related to the dispute, such as your edit to Ilhan Omar. You can however use the talk pages of articles to make suggestions. If you have any uncertainty about whether an edit might violate this prohibition, I suggest that you err on the side of caution. For instance, I don't think you should have made this one.[1] Thanks. Doug Weller talk 13:38, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
