Request IP unblock
[edit]TomSwiss (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Requesting an IP address block exemption, because the IP address 216.169.140.157 is a VPN address assigned for a long term to my specific use, not a web host or open proxy. I use this VPN service to give my home internet connection a stable static IP address. Thank you. TomSwiss (talk) 14:45, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
Decline reason:
No response to follow up question. Kuru (talk) 03:03, 19 August 2015 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Is there any reason why you need to edit Wikipedia from "a stable static IP address", rather than disabling the VPN when you edit? The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 12:58, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
