Ledge raids
[edit]Hi; welcome to Wikipedia; just wanted to explain that my reversal of your first edit was not censorship; there are fairly strict rules for content, especially on legal cases, but in general speculative content is a no-go, other than being cited as a speculation (by someone other than an op-ed column or a blog, that is, i.e. a politician/expert/academic etc.). The Ledge Raids article needs a lot of work and there's lots of material that could/should be added but it has to be done the right way, and written in the right neutral tone (see WP:NPOV). And with legal cases, again, everything shoudl be citable and care taken with speculation and anything potentially libellious; but thanks for trying, and please add material you think shoudl be int he article or discuss it on Talk:BC Legislature Raids for input before adding it; this may be one article where the usual rules about not sourcing facts from blgos don't apply, because blogs adn oip-ed pieces are some of the only places facts on this case and asscoiated scandal can be found...watch the article's talkpage for more on that at some point, I've given a wide berth because of its complexity (and frankly, the nausea factor); I wish as much energy had been put into that article as 2008 Canadian parliamentary dispute...I suppose the difference is a current even that does get media hype/attention, and one which systematically doesn't.Skookum1 (talk) 21:13, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
