I've noted the "hangon" tag you applied to the above-captioned article and the argument you advanced on its talk page. Although you are correct that the author you referenced is sufficiently notable to be the subject of a Wikipedia article, unfortunately our notability guidelines don't stretch to include someone who's created an unpublished screenplay based on his work. The screenwriter would probably only be notable if and when the movie is produced, and perhaps not even then. I have therefore decided to agree with the editor who tagged the article for speedy deletion.
