Image copyright problem with Image:Palin3.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Palin3.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 22:54, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
Image:Palingassitdown.jpg listed for deletion
[edit]If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. BanyanTree 23:37, 30 December 2006 (UTC)Image copyright problem with Image:Palin basketball.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Palin basketball.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. —Angr 10:30, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Todd Palin AfD Discussion
[edit]I noticed that you are a major contributor to the Sarah Palin article, and I thought you might be interested in knowing that I have nominated the article on her husband Todd Palin for deletion. Please feel free to share your thoughts on this matter. --TommyBoy (talk) 11:13, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Sarah Palin
[edit]Hi, I think someone who worked on the Sarah Palin article should try to get it featured on the main page before the election, because within the next 11 days is when it will be most interesting to read. --Chuck (talk) 03:09, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
