Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 16:58, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Buh-Bye

[edit]

Get the fuck off my page, simpleton. You have no grounds to stand on for a block and you never will. Don't threaten to block me because you can't handle me telling the truth. Your little ANI WARNING bit is being deleted from my page -- just like you guys delete anything regarding neutrality in regards to Zoe Quinn. TabascoMan77 (talk) 10:07, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for illustrating my point entirely. You managed to show at least four bannable reasons within a day, and also it should be noted that mandatory notifications such as ANI are required regardless if you want the individual to post to your talk page or not. Tivanir2 (talk) 14:21, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I've had enough arguing over this and I'm sure we've wasted enough of each other's time. I'm going to walk away. If you'd like to vote for an indef block, I have no qualms. I will not apologize for asking for neutrality or for the article I am writing -- however, I will apologize for the simpleton remark and the "genius" remark. Take care. Just a little friendly advice from a passer-by

WP:DNFTT. That's all I wanted to say, really. Hope it helps. Begoontalk 16:48, 30 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Got it. I think I made my points salient enough that it should be clear why the user is a problem. Now just need to see what the community thinks. Tivanir2 (talk) 17:12, 30 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
My grandma used to tell me - "when you listen, you hold the power - when you speak, you throw it away." She wasn't entirely right, god rest her, otherwise I'd never speak at all - but I'm often glad she added it to my list of things to think about. Be well. See you around the place. Information icon Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Muhammad does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! NeilN talk to me 04:03, 16 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah that was my bad. I usually remember but occasionally I forget to add things like that. Tivanir2 (talk) 11:49, 16 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously, who are you?

[edit]

You claim to have interacted with me in the past, but I have never interacted with your account before, and then you claim that you are not engaged in sockpuppetry. Either you have me mistaken for someone else (in which case an apology for the misunderstanding would be appreciated) or one of the above claims was a lie. Where do you think you have interacted with "Hijiri88" before? You seem to be focused primarily on our article on Muhammad -- did you get my Japanese name mixed up with someone with an Arabic username like hajjar or some such? I'm genuinely curious. Hijiri 88 (やや) 11:33, 15 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps my words were off I meant we are usually on different ends of the spectrum for opinions (I weigh in on certain high profile articles from time to time as an outside neutral person, though I mainly keep my editing focused on a few articles. I tend to focus on trying to create an FA before moving to a new article.) I am no one's sockpuppet, my only other account ever was the original Tivanir account that I could not recover. Tivanir2 (talk) 00:22, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Wait, but you've only ever made anything more than piecemeal edits to one article, and I've never touched that article. That still looks suspicious. Do you support the "Christ myth" theory? Biblical inerrancy? Young earth creationism? The "Chinese civilization was invented by Koreans" theory? Sorry if I sound pushy, but it really unnerves me seeing someone I've never come in contact with before show up on ANI and say "I disagree with this user for various unspecified reasons, so I think placing restrictions on him would be a good idea". Hijiri 88 (やや) 22:14, 17 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I work on gamergate related articles, a bunch of various religion related articles, and some random things all over the place. Regardless this conversation is going no where. It is more than apparent you are trying to fish me for information to get tying me to a sockpuppet investigation and I, frankly, have enough limited time to work on Wikipedia and will no longer respond to this. Enjoy editing. Tivanir2 (talk) 22:23, 17 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Wow. Holy assumption of bad faith, Batman. You have made a total of 39 edits to articles that are not Muhammad, most of them minor, and none of them moving especially close to FAC. There are only six non-Muhammad talk pages you yave edited more than once, all of them less than ten times. There are three non-Muhammad Wikipedia namespace pages you have edited more than once, one of them ANI, which accounts for more than 70% of your non-Muhammad Wikipedia namespace edits. Your only substantial contributions to the WT mainspace were to WT:NOT, which you posted to 49 times, all apparently about images of Muhammad (I did not read through all your comments, so I apologize if I missed something). I'm genuinely failing to see when you have "focused on trying to create an FA before moving to a new article". I am not fishing for anything. I am genuinely interested in who you are, what your relationship to me is, and why you suddenly showed up and claimed to have interacted with me in the past. Your response was a dodging of the question and was clearly a lie. I will be monitoring your edits from now on to see if you make any more gross assumptions of bad faith like the above, and if you do I will report you. And if I manage to figure out what your specific bone to pick with me is, I might report you for that as well. Hijiri 88 (やや) 23:41, 17 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You can kindly leave me alone, stop wasting my time, and get the hell off my talk page. IF I notice you start stalking me for no good reason I WILL bring it to ANI with diffs. I already was more than willing to disengage and drop it. Tivanir2 (talk) 15:21, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Happy Eid! A discussion which you participated in (at Talk:Muhammad) is continuing at another venue: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Islam. 151.227.21.236 (talk) 06:08, 24 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This IP has been used by someone claiming to be Tivanir. If you are Tivanir, log back in. Leaving yourself messages while logged-out is a violation of WP:SOCK. Chris Troutman (talk) 16:23, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I was trying to clear up confusion so individuals would not mistake my logged out edits as sock edits (I had lost access to my account for a short period of time before regaining it) though it shouldn't happen in the future as I have access to the account once again. My actions were designed to do the opposite of mislead people about my logged out comments and my account. Tivanir2 (talk) 04:53, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oh you meant the IP above. No, that wasn't me as I don't wish people religious holiday greetings at all. Tivanir2 (talk) 13:28, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
