Welcome!

[edit]

Hi Titus Tiger and thanks for getting in touch at my talk page. I will give such little wisdom as I have and if I can't answer any of your questions, I will pass you on to someone who can.

Fist, you asked about signing your name. There are four tides at the bottom on any page you may be editing, that you can simply click on and your name will be added automatically. Also, at the top just after the B for bold and the I for Italics is a pen-like figure. Clicking on that will also sign your name for you. You may, however, need to configure your signature at your preferences. If you send me back a note, signing it in one of the two ways I have suggested, I will have a look at it and if it needs to be configured I can walk you through that.

Second, you asked about referencing Twitter accounts. Generally, Wikipedia's policy is the less external links the better but, if you know someone has a website or twitter account that people might be interested in, so long as you don't add a great many to a page, I think it's alright. You would just add a new section to the Dan Dickerson article, for instance, entitled External Links and then type in the link to the twitter account. Subject to what another editor might have to say, I think that would be an acceptable and helpful external link to post on that page.

Finally, I have added below a fairly standard welcome box that may help you find your way around a little easier. If you have any other questions, though, please feel free to reach me at my talk page.

Best Regards, Snowysusan (talk) 22:05, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
