Your recent edits

[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 19:11, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Calvin harris songs, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Calvin harris songs has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. (CSD C1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Calvin harris songs, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Login problem with this page

[edit]

This is weird. I've set my account to "remember me", but whenever I go on the Oasis page, it logs me out so I can't edit anything. Whe I go on another page, I'm logged in again. What is this and how do I prevent it? Titan50 (talk) 11:04, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Genres

[edit]

Please stop changing infobox genres, as you did on Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco. You changed them against consensus and did not source any. You may not just change information to your liking without even discussing it or adding citations. Please remember this in your editing from now on. Timmeh! 14:27, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re genre changes to Placebo

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Placebo (band), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Several of your proposed genres have been contested in the past by knowledgeable editors; significant chances such as these to an article should first be discussed on the article's talk page in an attempt to reach consensus. Thank you. ^_^ Rachel Summers (talk) 19:15, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Westlife. Your edits appeared to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Cahk (talk) 21:01, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Lying from You‎, you will be blocked from editing. Cahk (talk) 21:01, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It might be a reasonable change since you would know the band better than I do. However, based on your pattern of editing and the fact you've vandalized other pages, I had to assume it is another vandals made by you. --Cahk (talk) 21:05, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's not 'vandalised pages in the past', you have vandalized another page less than 20 minutes ago, Westlife. You are welcome to change it back, but take this as a warning that if you keep vandalizing pages on Wiki, you will be blocked.--Cahk (talk) 21:09, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Scream (Tokio Hotel album)

[edit]

The main reason I reverted your edit was because the infomation is outdated. If you look at the blog part of the link you can see the last post (which talks about Ready Set Go and Scream) was posted 267 days ago, which is roughly nine months ago making the post from July 2007 which was a month before the release of RSG and nearly two months before the original date of Scream. But RSG didn't do to well when it was released and that pushed back the album date in the UK. That bebo site, however, hasn't been updated since. I have seen other Bebo/MySpace Tokio Hotel sites claiming to be official like this and that's why you can't know for sure if the official bebo is actually reliable(connected to the band) or just run by fans unless the band say it themselves what their official bebo is. I'm sure if it was official like their official MySpace and Buzznet accounts, it wouldn't seem completely abandoned like it looks currently. I have also seen a few "official" bebo and others claiming the album would be released in January 2008 in the UK but January came and went and the album goes unreleased(officially) in the UK. Although Scream is available to order through UK music sites like HMV and Amazon through import, the album has yet to get it's official release like the album has gotten in Canada and soon the US. Also their official website, even has the Scream (UK version) date set for "coming soon" in the 2008 releases section. And then if you look at their links section and click the link where is says "official bebo" you are brought to this which looks like it hasn't been created yet. So I hope that clears that up. Verifiable Sources

I highly recommend you seek guidance on this as you seem to add many sources that are consider unreliable. Reading Wikipedia:Reliable sources would be a good start. Smashing Pumpkins Genre Changes

[edit]

I noticed you have changed or added genres on several Smashing Pumpkins pages. Please don't do this without providing a reliable source to back up your changes. Perhaps if you feel strongly about a certain change, bring it up on the talk page and it can be discussed. hbent (talk) 15:28, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Genres, again

Genres: Jan. 2010

[edit]

Please refrain from changing music genres without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Continued genre changes to suit your own point of view may result in a block. Thank you. Please be aware that sites such as rateyourmusic.com, which rely on user-submitted content, are not considered reliable sources. Please refrain from attempting to use such references to substantiate your own POV. Thank you. DKqwerty (talk) 12:21, 30 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Music Genres

[edit]

You've been warned repeatedly not to change the genres of music without discussing the matter. I see, however, that you have done so on Minutes to Midnight (album) and elsewhere. You need to get consensus for such a change before making it. Continuing to unilaterally change music genres could be viewed as disruptive, and - if it continues - You may be Blocked from editing.
