Regarding your edit

[edit]

Just wanted to check in with you on the "revert if necessary" bit. I personally have no problem with it! I'm a major contributor to the article because I love his music, embarrassingly because I loved him as the Shugabush first. If that's the same for you, I implore you give Southern Gravity a listen :)

The reason why some people get so worked up about edits like these is because people usually go too far with in, in violation of WP:GAMECRUFT. It's better to keep fictional details and explanations to a minimum in order to not take away from the basic encyclopedic value of discussing the fictional work. Compare the plot summary of Paper Mario: The Origami King to that of the one the Mario Wiki, for example. The Mario Wiki covers just the game itself, while here on Wikipedia it's expectant to give just as much weight to the development process, critical reception, sales numbers and release dates, etc. I encourage you to check out this list if you are further interested in contributing to video game content, or works of fiction in any matter. Happy editing! Panini! 🥪 19:22, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
