Contested deletion

Sorry if my first draft did infringe copyright, I will change the content. The content has been created with the knowledge of the owner of that web page and his consent. Could you please advice how I can rectify my mistake? I have to admit it is the first time I use Wikipedia and the amount of information related to the creation of an article is just overwhelming. --TinkerSmith (talk) 23:42, 1 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@TinkerSmith: Thanks for your message, I've removed the speedy deletion tag for right now, the violating revisions can be deleted later on once you've rewritten the article.

The first and most important thing to remember is the notability guideline: the subjects of Wikipedia articles must have significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject itself.

Additionally, you need to avoid copyright violations: you can almost never just copy-paste text into a Wikipedia article. You need to write the content of an article in your own words and then cite where you got the information from.

On top of that, the use of non-free images (including the logo and screenshot in your draft) is subject to the non-free content guidelines, which most notably says that you cannot use non-free images outside of mainspace. This means you'll need to wait until your draft has been approved before adding them. I also noticed that you uploaded the images in your draft to Wikimedia Commons: Commons only allows freely licensed images and media, non-free images must be uploaded to Wikipedia locally with a non-free content rationale attached (this sounds scary, but really isn't a big deal, you just need to say where you found the image and why you're using it in an article). The images will probably be deleted from Commons since they're clearly not your own work or freely licensed (as you selected when uploading them, probably not meaning to). But again, you'll need to wait for your draft to be approved first before uploading them again with the proper copyright information attached.

Finally, please take a look at Help:Your first article. That page will walk you through everything I just listed and explain how to make a great article.
