Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Timothymably, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hi! I see that you've already resolved this, but I just wanted to note that it's very important that you add sourcing with any claim you add to an article as otherwise it can be challenged and removed, as was the case here. If you're pulling from an existing source then you will need to note this in the comments. You've already resolved this but I just wanted to follow up. Sounds good - literally just had to do this for a college course. I understand now how Wikipedia editing works, but the way the editing format is feels dated. Surely they could make it a little more clear. That's why I had an issue adding a citation originally. Timothymably (talk) 19:03, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
