Welcome!

Hello, Timiabayomi, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

NWFL Champion's Shield

[edit]

While I weakly agree with you that "NWFL Champions Sheild" is probably a more suitable name, I do not agree that the current name is misleading as Super Cup all over the world refers to league winners vs cup winners. Additionally, the POV and tone of your added edits is not appropraite by Wikipedia stanndards. Also, this is not how to move a page, you need to make a move request or get someone with page-mover rights to do it for you. And thanks for the images :) HandsomeBoy (talk) 08:17, 13 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A page you started (Usman Abd'Allah) has been reviewed!

[edit]

Thanks for creating Usman Abd'Allah.

User:Rosguill while reveiwing this page as a part of our page curation process had the following comments:

The article needs some copyediting for tone, and could also do with fewer citations at the ends of sentences (the Coaching career section has some pretty egregious examples: you almost never need 4+ citations to back up a claim). Additionally, I see that you've claimed the photo of the subject as your own work. Please review Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline, and if pertinent, declare any conflicts of interest (or lack thereof) that you may have with the subject on the article's talk page.

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Rosguill}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

Notice

The article Peter Olawale has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NFOOTBALL, as doesn't seem to have played in a Tier 1 International Match or played in a competitive game between two teams from fully-professional leagues. The NPFL is the only league that meets this criteria in Nigeria.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Speedy deletion nomination of Mbachu John Ndubuisi

[edit]

Hello, Timiabayomi

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Mbachu John Ndubuisi for deletion, because it seems to be vandalism or a hoax.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Mbachu John moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Mbachu John, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
