Welcome + explanation
[edit]Welcome!
Hello, Timeon, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- How to create your first article (using the Article Wizard if you wish)
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome!
I should also tell you why I reverted your edit at Zagreb - in the article text, it's explained how the name Agram is no longer the main German name. The lead section shouldn't conflict with the rest of the article :) --Joy [shallot] (talk) 08:04, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
- I think the point of contention is whether this really needs to be in the lead section, when it's already explained in the first section. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 16:04, 17 August 2011 (UTC)

Categories
[edit]Please stop adding people into Category:Croatian atheists. According to Wikipedia policies categories regarding religious beliefs should not be used unless the subject has publicly self-identified with the belief in question and the subject's beliefs are relevant to their notable activities or public life according to reliable published sources. Unless you can support your edits with references they will be regarded as vandalism. Timbouctou (talk) 18:28, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
- So in essence you admit you don't have a source in which either Krleža or Lustig have self-identified as atheists, nor do you have a source which claims their beliefs are/were relevant for their public life? Wikipedia cannot accept unsourced labels like that and your additions to these articles constitute original research. If you keep on insisting on adding unsourced labels to biographies I will have to report you for vandalism. Regards. Timbouctou (talk) 20:57, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
