Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Han-Kwang (t) 23:30, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Addition of http://sss.dj-music.org.uk external link
[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. -- SiobhanHansa 13:49, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. IrishGuy talk 19:16, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well potentially being penalized by search engines. Request reason:
I don't believe this to be the case considering i have added useful content that is both factual and useful to every entry. I believe that this decision is bias against me bast on my inital additions which were inaccurate due to me not being used to wikipedia. totally unfair
you want to know how bias this is? clicking on one of the linkins Hankwang profile gives you this message: If a message on your talk page led you here, please be wary of who left it. Code that you insert on this page could contain malicious content capable of compromising your account. If you are unsure whether code you are adding to this page is safe, you can ask at the appropriate village pump. If this is a .js page, the code will be executed when previewing the page.
so if i get blocked why does a user who has such a message on their profile get free reign?
Please Delete My account, I have no interest in being a part of this draconian system, and please remove my email address from your records.
Decline reason:
The links you were adding do not appear to be constructive towards building an encyclopedia. While they may contain information pertinent to the subject of whatever article, links such as http://www.iwishfor.co.uk/monopoly/ appear to be selling products or otherwise violate our policy on external links. In general, links on Wikipedia should be to reliable sources which act as references to verify the information in the article.
The link you found on someone's userpage went to their monobook.js file, a page containing scripts that they can use on Wikipedia to make editing easier. The warning you saw is a standard notice that appears on all of these pages: you'll see one on my page even though I'm an administrator, and one on your page even though it's your own.
Due to technical and copyright reasons, we cannot delete your account. You may, if you wish, exercise your right to vanish. If you have set your email address, you may remove it in your preferences - we cannot do this for you.
If you would like to continue editing, I would suggest you review our policies on neutral point of view and external links. This is not a permanent block, and you will be unblocked if you demonstrate that you understand our policies and are willing to abide by them. If you have any questions, please let us know. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
