Semantic web
[edit]Thank you for your contribution to Semantic web, but would you clarify the above paragraph? It's meaning is unclear. --Pkchan 02:25, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
2007-01-20 Sorry it was so long before I gt the message. The paragraph now seems to have disaappeared. I don't have time just now to chase up the history. I think that the page needs a lot of bringing up to date to refelct the idea of data interop between appplications.
Hi
[edit]I'm doing my history day topic on you Tim :) Very interesting things I've learned about you and the web so far..... What's your favorite browser? Thx for the web by the way, lol. If we only had the internet this would probably still be only for scientists or we would have Xanadu which would be very weird because you can't delete anything on it!

[edit]I find it somewhat hard to believe that nobody has picked up on (or at least commented) that you are editing the talk page for the Tim Berners-Lee article in the first page]. I'm going to be applying to the neuroscience Ph.D. program at MIT this fall. Maybe I'll get a chance to catch a lecture if you still give them from time to time. I have some pretty big ideas too ya know! braininformatics.com (p.s. if this isn't THE Tim B.L. I like your joke) Niubrad (talk) 15:52, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit]If you really are Sir Tim Berners-Lee, then i) thank you for the web and ii) it would be a good idea to verify that by providing a link to your profile page here, from [ your W3C page].
i) You are welcome. Go ahead and use it whenever you like ;-) ii) Added a link to this page from my W3 page, as "my identity ion wikipedia" -- TimBL
Would you also be willing to add an hCard microformat to that page? I'll gladly supply the relevant mark-up. Andy Mabbett (User:Pigsonthewing); Andy's talk; Andy's edits 14:22, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Do you suggest we lock up Wikipedia after you're done with web browsers? Just curious.

web 3.0 or nonparametric efficiency
[edit]Tim Berners-Lee,
Simple.
I'm sure that you will perfectly understand this.
When you believe that only you can be the person to do what we will talk about. Than appear certainly the biggest challenge in my life I'm a big fan of computer.
Today, from Brussels I'm really happy.
You confirm me where I'm going. Thank.
I read your article the semantic web and -in action.
Basically I was working on my project. I have to publish an article " Human as an enterpeneur".
So, in a sens my idea is a complet plagiarism of your idea. But it's not. It's the first time in my life that I read this articles.
This is unbelievable.
I'm really happy to follow what you did till now for our community.
I'm sure that I'll be able to help our community to resolve the semantic issue.
I'm already scare about this. A unique place for what we are talking about is my biggest fear.
In my point of view.
The nonparametric efficiency with the geolocalisation technologie is the best way.
The model is an hybrid, working with nonparametric and paramatric. The parametric will help user to build his network and profil, basically with social networking idea.
The nonparametricis is the core. I believe, it's the best way.
CALLABRAND is the project name.

DRM EME/transparency
[edit]Not so much a topic of discussion, more so a personal insight. I by far am not an uneducated person or afraid of what i do not know. In fact i love reading code. idk why, just a hobby of mine. First and foremost, hats off to you, what an amazing creative mind you have. As far as the web goes, unfortunately its a conflict of spiritual belief and conflicts with my morals and values. Obviously i am torn. Loving the design and nearly infinite possibilities any direction one could go with it. And as always, every good thing can be manipulated and used for unethical purposes. I obviously have a bad taste in my mouth with it, from two different causes. It obviously does not promote or support marriage and fidelity, but the opposite. Marketed more towards secrecy, privacy, social meeting sites, private rooms and so on. Yet wishes to establish user trust with countless binding agreements impossible to comply with every single one, giving the appearance of transparency. We should both agree A) Can there really be established a TRUST in anything that promotes secrecy? B) can there really be transparency with web pages embedded with redirects and covered in advertisements? Marketing competing for conversion rates, bahavior analysts doing social research and timing human beings for clicks and attention span? Come now, is that really any different than the mice that hear a bell for reward? C) Allowing children to be used for revenue on games and hours online? Does not moral value and appreciation for life take precedence over research and competitive marketing? i should hope so. And if an ADULT is lead astray it is by their own personal preference, is there really anything to argue? Honestly, no. im sad to see it in my day. Im sure that was not original design. It is also safe to, we are both aware the web is used to promote pornography as these are SPONSORED Top Level domains arranged from high profile companies too ashamed to even publicly acknowledge. Not only is the home broken, but children are robbed from that irreplacable oppurtunity to be raised in a loving supportive family who divert their attention and time to each other.
- MY PRIMARY CONCERN*** is access to pure gore, illegal activities, and just grotest acts, shown to me on the web. I cerainly would never have imagined in my life, and wont even repeat where i saw it. Literally an image i struggle today to get out of my mind. The site has since been taken off the web. I am terrified of my children to see anything like that. Is it really possible to even control and provide security that wont surface again? No sir, it is not. Some things are better left unknown and tranparency is not at all what people are expecting. Those things do not conjure in peoples heads, not all people. That is a product of boredom, social isolation, desensitization, lack of human interaction. I thought it an open forum for insight and personal perspective, not at all intended to instigate an argument. im sure these same concepts have entered your mind a time or two, or have crossed your desk.
i hope there are still a few more like me, placing moral duty, health and what is beneficial to society as a whole, instead of placing personal desires and wants. Again thank you for your time PJRamos 71.209.96.240 (talk) 05:17, 3 March 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Your source codes allows people to steal and view people's data and then utilize it to cause physical, mental, and emotional harm to individuals that may, or may not be responsible for whatever slight anyone might imagine......that being said, there needs to be some type of limitations on who has access to said code 208.184.250.44 (talk) 22:38, 1 January 2023 (UTC)
