Note
[edit]The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding Eastern Europe, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.
This message is informational only and does not imply misconduct regarding your contributions to date.--NeilN talk to me 20:03, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
You complain about a newspaper but want to use a self-published book? Come on. --NeilN talk to me 21:30, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
Your use of WP:PROD at Euromaidan
[edit]The template you used [1] is for non-controversial deletions only . I have removed it from the Euromaidan article. This is a reminder that Euromaidan is subject to the discretionary sanctions you were previously notified of. JBH (talk) 04:57, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
Follow-up
[edit]After reading over your conversation with NeilN and your request for help at Talk:Alexander Litvinenko it seems that your copy/pasting might be because you simply do not know how to make diffs. Here is a link to The Wikipedia Simple Diff and Link Guide. Please give it a read and when you want to draw a person's attention to something use the methods described there rather than simply pasting raw text. Diffs are how people here keep from being overwhelmed by referential text, they keep pages neat and avoid irritating other editors needlessly. So please use diffs. Good luck with your editing here at Wikipedia! JBH (talk) 17:18, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
