Design Predicates
I'm assuming you're suggesting speedy deletion because there's nothing in the article. I'll try to add at least some content to it ASAP. DRogers 19:53, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
Advisors' Real Estate
Hi Tikiwont, I tried to make some changes to my page. Do you have any other suggestions for what I can do to make my page not a "blatant commercial"? I noticed that Jones Land Laselle has a similar article that has not been removed. What differentiates their article and makes it not spam? Thanks for all of your help, Anat
Self Service Software
Greetings Tikiwont - I added 2 references (experts in the field per their articles in the topic space) Was wondering how the Unreferenced note that appears in the heading could be unflagged. I did not know what litmus test there was for removal of this or whether I could remove this myself. Figured I would approach you since you made the note about references back in Nov. Just getting back to editting. Thanks ;Topiarydan 21, January.
Anurous
I originally created the article as part of Wikipedia:WikiProject_Missing_encyclopedic_articles; when I came back to Wikipedia after a break, I found that it had been deleted because it had been transferred to Wiktionary, so I created a link page. Without that, I assume that the link will show up red again at the project. Is there a standard approach to this — something else I should have done? --Phronima 18:39, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- As I remember, I couldn't find anything but the adjective. I've seen Wiktionary redirects with a template about there being no article, but if anyone wants to start one they're welcome, as long as it isn't just a dictionary definition; would that be possible here, at least for the meantime? --Phronima 11:36, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
NPWatcher approval
You've been approved to use NPWatcher. Please give me any feature requests or bugs. I'm also happy to help if you have any problems running the program, or any questions :). Before you run the program, please check the changelog on the application page to see if I've made a new release (or just add the main page (here) to your watchlist). Finally, enjoy! Martinp23 17:26, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- Damn... (re: the bug). I was sure that I'd fixed that ages ago, but must have reintroduced it somehow. I'll fix it tomorrow or at the weekend - thanks for reporting it! Martinp23 21:51, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
Complex Number
Hi, Tikiwont!
I just noticed your edit on complex number. I'm writing because I'm concerned that User:Mogmiester is out to do considerable mischief on Wikipedia ... see this page and look at some of what he's done recently.
I'm going to read some more background on what to do about vandalism ... hopefully you know more about procedure than I do. DavidCBryant 13:59, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
Hi Tikiwont 「御考慮下さい」
The Japanese character is phonogram and as for replacing this with the alphabet, it has a lot of problems. I think that it is necessary that I write a kanji. How do you think?「御考慮下さい」15:01, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Ok, thanks for that. It is pretty hard to find, but no matter : ) Mogmiester 18:56, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
PrinceCon
Hi Tikiwont, Thanks for your feedback regarding PrinceCon. I'm new around here, so I'm trying to learn the guidelines. I am aware that "vanity" articles are discouraged. I thought perhaps that this was not, for a few reasons: (1) the age of the convention, which distinguishes it, and (2) there was an open link under the Gaming Conventions article, and a number of other conventions appeared to have entries. It seems to me that open links should be removed if an article on the subject in question is not desired, so that newbies like me won't get confused and waste their effort. :-) I would welcome any further suggestions/feedback on this, if you care to leave any on my talk page. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Polytrope (talk • contribs) 17:54, 26 January 2007 (UTC).

On the page I put a link I wasn't trying to promote anyone, if I was I wouldn't do it here.Yellowlime31 19:08, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
Paul Varghese
I've updated Paul Varghese's page, this article was just created today, so it is a work in progress. He was one of the first indians on Last Comic Standing (2) and is a touring comedian with a notable background of work and even a potential upcoming series [[1]]. Please review and reassess the page for notability. Thanks--Kathanar 19:36, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
User:Tikiwont Thank you for responding, I do appreciate you listing your reasons on placing your tag. I do find the tagging premature as the article was just created yesterday. It takes a little time to build up a article, and it is unfair and unneeded pressure to go ahead and put a tag that might lead to deletion when a proper amount of time is not given to build it up. I do find the article notable, I disagree with your assessment, as you said the links are in the news format, which is where you will get most sourcing and citation. I do not know of where else you will get evidence of notability from. Again I wish you had waited before adding a tag, as I feel now the article has to be rushed. Thanks again for your response and do reconsider your tag, especially with such a new article. Have a good day--Kathanar 14:30, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Question...
I was wondering why the second revision of the article, Client State (band), was deleted. Please tell me so I can revise more to make an article worth keeping. Thank you for your time.

Hi Tikiwont. You tagged 5ive (American band) as not notable. Please review the discussion here. Thank you for your time. Jonathan Métillon 13:40, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Hello. Could you please point out the Wikipedia rule that states sources must be in English? Of course English sources are preferred over non-English ones, but that's not the issue here. Biruitorul 01:29, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- My comment wasn't intended as a rule. I was rather hoping that something can be found, but after a quick search of mine this isn't easy. So I'll remove the tag. Tikiwont 09:57, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for your understanding, and in case I do find something in English, I will put it in the bibliography. Biruitorul 18:20, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
I have to say Tikiwont, hats off to you for all the little bits of work you've been doing on this article. When I have the time I will do some more on it and kick it into some shape. Psicorps 22:37, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
I think that hashtable#Chaining can be renamed and slightly rewritten to accommodate the material in open hashing. I have made some suggestions in Talk:hash table and if it is OK with others then I will come back and make the changes. Jyotirmoyb 05:27, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
I appreciate your swift desire to keep the quality of wikipedia up to par, but I do *not* appreciate the total deletion of the contents of the wiki page for James Berger. I go to put a "{hangon}" and there's nothing even there to hang on to! If you would kindly restore the original contents, this is something I would also like to contest.
- Thank you for restoring the content. If you could explain in plain and simple English as to what "WP:BLP" means, perhaps I could understand what you mean, for the benefit of both parties.Dante-kun 10:16, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
- Also, I would have liked to have kept a copy of the content of my personal article, so that I could copy and paste it to my user page. Do you have an archived version of it that I could access? Dante-kun 11:29, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
As to the wiki page for Sigil Studios, I have no problem in preparing an adequate defense for its notability, so if you would kindly proceed to the talk page for it, we can manage this in a timely and polite manner. Dante-kun 09:59, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
your proposed deletion of Thurignowa related pages
hi i added these 2 pages so i can link to them from the City of Thuringowa page. if you go to here WP:NOT#DIR you will see this:- "Merged groups of small articles based on a core topic are certainly permitted; see List of locations in Spira for an example." this is what i have done so can you please remove these pages from the list to be deleted and make contact with me first next time to see why i did what i did thank you Thuringowacityrep 11:37, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I did tag the article and notify you in one step which is usually fine since the prod template can simply be removed as you did. Since you disagree, and since I do not see the current directory list is an example of a group of small articles, i have nominated the article for Deletion and put the links also on your talk page. --Tikiwont 14:23, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
i just had a look around wiki and have found over 10 pages that have be linked just like mine are and i found them in under 3 mins so why have you made up your mind that my 2 pages that are needed to link to from the main page need to be deleted. i will be adding more inffo to the pages as i get time so to put this tag on it 10 mins after i started the page it a bit over the top.....don't you think? Thuringowacityrep 22:25, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Joshua Perper Page
I've made some additions to the page for Joshua Perper. I was wondering with the addition of several reputable sources if the article could have the tags you added removed.... MattFBC 15:14, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

disambig(s) to socionics types
you recently edited the disambig page EII (disambiguation), changing the wording from Ethical-Intuitive Introvert in socionics to merely "a personality type in personality type systems." this is not really appropriate, as no other type system uses the acronym EII, instead preferring different methods. if there is any other such system, it is definitely a lot less widely-known than socionics and i certainly have no idea about it. nonetheless, suffice to say the acronym is confined to socionics. Niffweed17, Destroyer of Chickens 23:03, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing out this subtle difference that escaped me while aligning some TLA pages with WP:MOSDAB. Pointing out that it refers to a personality type is important for the non-specialist who may not know what socionics is. I've now included both. Please have a look and correct once more if you see fit. --Tikiwont 08:44, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
"Elron Awards"
My personal opinion is that (a) the Elron Awards are not documented anywhere, (b) it will still show up in a search by being content on the VCON page, and (c) using a redirect page still implies notability, which does not seem to be documented here. I think it would be uncharitable and inappropriate to list the "award recipients" outside the context of the presentation itself, but without documenting the recipients, I don't see how this can be sufficiently noteworthy to record in the category of Canadian science fiction awards (which is how this came to my attention). As far as I can tell, this is a humorous program item at VCON, which is presented to resemble an award ceremony, but it is not an actual award that is supposed to be remembered. Having said that, my personal opinion does not determine consensus. Avt tor 15:19, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
re: Macrina Move
Thanks. I usually try to move things myself before submitting them to WP:RM. My apologies, I must have missed that I was able to move that one. Thanks for your help though. -_ Pastordavid 16:09, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
Prodding
Sorry about that, but I am trying to clear a backlog of over 7000 articles at CAT:NN. If I put reasons on every one of these articles the backlog would grow to 8000 by the time I clear 150. I know it would help, but I really am trying to hurry and go faster than the growing backlog. Anyway, thanks for your concern. Diez2 16:45, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
Talk:World Transhumanist Association
Somewhat paradoxically, Simon Young is his World Transhumanist Society are now mentioned in Wikipedia, but in a rather more problematic way than the edits that you contested. May I suggest to roll that back per WP:BLP, which according to my understanding also applies to article's talk pages.--Tikiwont 10:57, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not sure I understand what you are asking me to do. Are you requesting that I delete the mention of Simon Young on the Talk:World Transhumanist Association page in order to respect WP:BLP guidelines? If so, feel free to do it yourself without having to ask me. --Loremaster 16:56, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
RE:Archive Article
Thanks for warning me. I didn't know what else I could do. I typed in the shortcut for Template:Archive and it showed up as a link to the article named Archive. How should the problem be investigated?

- I can't seem to edit my pages anymore. I clicked the Edit this page button, and it wanted me to download the file index.php. I download it, and it asks me again, and I can't edit the pages. I am editing your talk page by clicking the edit tab on my section. Do you know what's going on? By the way, how do you indent when editing a page? --Ryan TALK 00:27, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- First of all you have succeed in editing my talk page. It just looked strange because of the tabs. You can indent instead by adding an ':' as I just did for you. For the rest I have no idea but would rather check your browser. Maybe it helps to clean the cache and/or clean-up the temporary files, and log-out. --Tikiwont 09:10, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- Hello. I tried clearing all of my Internet files. History, temporary files, cache, cookies, passwords, everything. I still can't seem to click on the edit this page button. It wants me to find or save index.php. Thanks for showing me how to tab things.
- --Ryan TALK 02:04, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- Nevermind about the problem with editing the pages. I downloaded a program called PHP 5.1.2 and now it works. Thanks for your help and suggestions though!
- --24.16.54.4 02:39, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- That was me above, but I was wrong. I was logged out. I can edit fine when I'm logged out. It's only when I'm logged in that it wants me to download the file index.php. User:24.16.54.4 is Ryan Keyes. It's just my IP adress when I'm logged out. So just contact me on either my logged out talk page or my talk page. My talk page is User talk:Ryan Keyes.

Regarding your February Speedy delete of the Quetzaltenango Guatemala Temple article
Please see the List of temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Although this LDS temple is projected or under construction, an article on the Guatemala temple article will surely reappear. Despite the stub's faults, perhaps it would have been better to encourage improvement or clarification rather than speedy delete. Best Wishes. WBardwin 23:55, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for correcting my error on the AfD page. It was my first entry, and I didn't know what the hell I was doing. 208.252.22.251 14:51, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi Tikiwont! Thanks for that. I did think of making it a redirect, and I'm glad you agree. I just didn't quite have the self-confidence to do it myself without canvassing opinions first. Philip Trueman 11:30, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
I notice that you've made numerous edits to the HFboards page, and a group of users that have been banned from HFBoards have taken to exacting childish revenge by repeatedly vandalizing the wiki page for it. I'd appreciate the help in keeping an eye on it. Thanks Predshockey17 20:22, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I only did two edits and the third one consisted in now removing the (contested) speedy tag that you seem to have reinsetred. --Tikiwont 22:16, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'm one of the administrators of HFboards, and even I'll say the 'importance' of the board is overstated by the article. It's, big or not, just a messageboard at the end of the day...and as someone with a stake in both HF and Wikipedia, I don't think it's deserving of its own page. Predshockey17 02:49, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- Very well, but it should then rather be brought to WP:AfD. --Tikiwont 10:20, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Source on Robert E. McElwaine
I'm not really sure that source meets the criteria laid out by WP:ATT. I don't see anything on that website that would indicate its reliable, and they attribute the content to come from some random individual.--Crossmr 22:35, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Futurelab page
Hi Tikiwont, cheers for flagging up the Futurelab page. I have no idea if I should even in the right place here though :/ I am new to actually contributing to wikipedia, so I must confess I am somewhat naiive as to the policies etc. (am reading them now). I created the FL page with just some text I borrowed from the website, with the intention of adding to it later (I work at FL and was planning on getting colleagues to contribute and build something a bit more interesting than what I have just posted). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nsoucek (talk • contribs) 10:40, 19 March 2007 (UTC).
Can you pl. expand your comment?
I did not understand what needs to be done on past life healing page, vishitao reiki page and kriya reiki page.
I will be obliged to get right suggestions. Rekhaa Kale 17:21, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
- In simple words, someone like me should be able to write the articles on the basis of existing sources. This encyclopedia is intended as summary of already documentd knowledge, not as a channel for transmitting and sharing personal knwoledge, however valuable that may be. So it is possible that the current AfD discussions result in the deletion of your articles. As you continue to heal, teach and publish (maybe also ask someone to create a better website than the current one), someone else might sooner or later write articles here. Your edits here will still be welcome, but would need to adhere to the rules.--Tikiwont 10:06, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
Your Suggestions Implemented
Thanx for showing what was missing in my kriya reiki page. pl. go thro' the authenticity paragraph and give your comments so that I will further xpand the article in right way. Rekhaa Kale 16:28, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- I've read the page again, but the question raised by me is not whether this is an authentic healing method, but rather if there are enough independent sources to write an ecylcopaedic article about. Such an article cannot be written on first hand knowledge.--Tikiwont 09:34, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
I wish to say here that this method was received by me in the year 1996. Since then I have been teaching it. Will it be a good idea to add the comments of persons who learned it and who were healed with it? I did not do so as it would mean advertising. I wish to have suggestions about the independent sources mentioned by you. I will certainly do the needful additions on getting the suggestions. Rekhaa Kale 14:07, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
- No, testimonials won't help. Only alreayd published material counts. As you will notice, the article has meanwhile been proposed for deletion and will be discussed here:Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kriya reiki. Tikiwont 09:36, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
