Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thank you. hoopydinkConas tá tú? 01:56, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to 1979, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - Adolphus79 02:00, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
Peter Gammons
[edit]With the interest in my remaining civil, I'll just ask you to read up on some policy; Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. Don't make asinine and sadistic predictions as to when people are going to die. Also, look at the sources; you are most likely not a neurosurgeon, and even if you are, the ones that treated him said he was resting in intensive care, where he will remain for 10-12 days. Find something better to do with your time then inserting predicted death dates into an encyclopedia. hoopydinkConas tá tú? 02:16, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- Are you serious, dude? The info you added is not only unuseful, it's unabashedly sadistic and mean-spirited. When one enters the search term "Peter Gammons" into Google, it is the third page seen. Who knows how many people (yes, people, not faceless usernames and IP's on the internet) would have seen your nonsense and been extremely sad and grief-stricken at the "news". I don't have a God complex; you do, which is evident in you declaring when people are going to die. What's the worst, is that you think it's fun to get your kicks on the pain and suffering of others. When Mr. Gammons does eventually die, thousands of people will feel his loss, and you think it's fun... there are honestly no words to describe how perverse you're acting. And for the record, I spend my time on Wikipedia making beneficial contributions to the project, some of which include making sure that edits like yours don't ruin it. hoopydinkConas tá tú? 02:32, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
One week block
[edit]Block was kind
[edit]Based on this edit, I would have blocked this account indefinitely had I not seen the one-week block already imposed. Do not make further edits of this nature without a reliable source. RadioKirk (u|t|c) 02:30, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
