Reference errors on 25 November
[edit]Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:17, 26 November 2016 (UTC)
Reliable sources
[edit]Hello, I'm DVdm. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Physics, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page.
The source (http://www.eoht.info/page/homeokinetics) that you added with this edit, does not qualify as a wp:reliable source. It is a Wiki, and the article was written by someone calling himself Sadi-Carnot. These kinds of sources are not acceptable for Wikipedia. Cheers. - DVdm (talk) 08:42, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
- Hello DVdm. Thank you for that info. I will note it. Meanwhile, I believe it is relevant to add statements regarding homeokinetics to the Physics page because it is the science that studies these various complex systems by what they have in common. There were other references I could have used, I am not sure which to use. Here are some: [1] [2] [3]

- (Please indent the messages as outlined in wp:THREAD and wp:INDENT. I also removed a stray signature at the top of your comment. I hope you don't mind my slight reformatting of your message.)
- These are all wp:primary sources, whereas to avoid wp:UNDUE content, Wikipedia really needs wp:secondary sources. Also note that the topic that you are trying to add is not really on par with the other content in that section. A few proper secondary sources, not by Iberall, could perhaps establish notability of that subject, but I have my doubts.
- By the way, the choice of your username and your recents edits suggest that perhaps you might have a wp:conflict of interest regarding this subject. Are you in any way related to this author? - DVdm (talk) 16:38, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for the lessons. I will contact scientists working in the field of homeokinetics and ask them about secondary sources.
- And thank you for the information about conflicts of interest. Yes, Arthur Iberall was my father and I inherited his papers and his legacy. I stay in contact with scientists continuing his work. I will be more aware of the conflict of interest issue. Tiberall (talk) 14:16, 2 December 2016 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks, and happy editing! - DVdm (talk) 14:47, 2 December 2016 (UTC)
