Speedy deletion nomination of Tia Colletion
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Tia Colletion requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. [edit]There have been two problems identified with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.
If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Acroterion (talk) 18:00, 21 February 2017 (UTC)

Request reason:
I am creating a page for the Tia Collection which is an not for profit, private art collection that loans art work all over the world. The collection holds one of the largest archives for the Taos Society of Artist, a group of important American Western painters. The collection has loaned to the following museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, The National Gallery, London, The Booth Western Art Museum, Gainesville, The University of Arizona, Museum of Art, and many many more. It is a important collection that has preserves and shares the history of art. This is not advirtisment because we will gain no profit from this page, this is only to help introduce the collection to more viewers interested in the role it takes in the preservation of art history. I also believe the page was quickly blocked before any editing could be completed to show its important and relevance considered under section A7.
Decline reason:
Profit or nonprofit, you are still attempting to use Wikipedia to publicize the Tia Collection. Also, as the block notice says, usernames are not allowed to give the impression that the account represents a group or organization; Wikipedia accounts are for individuals only. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 18:34, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
